Entry from: Beijing, China Entry Title: "From finishing camp to Beijing" Entry: "So, we woke up on Sunday after a wild party (playing musical chairs/dodgeball/karoke - whilst drinking stupid amounts of Soju - korean vodka and beer as well as having our stomachs full of a hog roast). Needless to say we were all a bit ill and passed out on the bus back to Seoul. We spent 2 days in Seoul staying in another 'love motel'. There are no hostels in Korea, but the cheapest accommodation is found down side alleys and seeing as all young koreans still live at home (housing is very expensvie here) they meet up with their boyfriends / girlfriends at these very clean, modern 20pound a night motels! We stayed this time in an area called Insadong which is a craft market area with lots of pretty shops and teahouses. We bought some gifts / postcards and sent them off. We also spent a hectic afternoon trying to change our won as we completely forgot that the banks closed at four and turned up and 5 past! arggghhh! So we went to a dozen money changers needing to turn half into Chinese RMB and the other half into pound. Only problem being nobody had pound. We had many a conversation with old ladies saying Me ''Yes I have won, I want englisheee poundeee' Old Lady 'Oh, Englishee poundee, yes, yes, rateee 1970.' Me 'Ok, Ok ...
